What are good restaurants in Phoenix to go to lunch and supper?

This is mainly for research purposes for my new novel. I’ve been in Phoenix in 1/05. No fast food restaurants. But good restaurants to serve great food in the Phoenix Metro area inc. Sedona, that might include lobster. Excellent opinions from tourists and Arizona residents will be great.

Now I know that all restaurants vary, but in general what restaurants have always had friendly, prompt service in your experiences? Alternately, are there any restaurants you avoid because of this?
